LINDA OLSZESKI

Es miembro de la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMPAS), en la sección de Cortometrajes y Largometrajes Animados. Se incorporó a Shorts International en enero de 2006 como productora asociada para supervisar la adquisición del lanzamiento de los cortos ganadores del Oscar® en cines, VOD y iTunes.

Ha participado como jurado en más de cien festivales de cine internacionales y paneles en Norteamérica, Sudamérica y Europa. Ella Colabora en Swimming Upstream: A Lifesaving Guide to Short Film Distribution, The Guerilla Filmmakers Pocketbook y Making it Big in Shorts: The Ultimate Filmmaker’s Guide to Short Films. Ella Tiene una maestría en Cine e imparte talleres de estrategias para festivales, para los premios de la Academia y de distribución en Estados Unidos, México y Sudamérica.

Recientemente ella figuró entre los seis ejecutivos internacionales de cortometrajes elegidos para participar en Shorts Up. Antes de formar parte de Shorts International adquirió cortometrajes para The Hatchery y EVEO, desarrolló cortos para What a Cartoon de Hanna-Barbera, que se transmitió en Cartoon Network, programó cortos para el DreamWorks Short Film Festival, el Palm Springs International Short Festival, el Festival de Cine de Newport Beach y Sofia Independent Film Festival, también evaluó cortos y largometrajes para Fear Fete y el Festival de Cine de Sundance. Además formó parte de Shrek, The Road to El Dorado, Prince of Egypt, Reality Bites y The Life of David Gale.

 

She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), in the section of Short Films and Animated Short Films.

She joined Shorts Tv – The Sorth Movie Channel & Shorts International in January 2006 as an Associate Producer to oversee the takeover of short Academy Award® winners in cinemas, VOD and iTunes. She has participated as a member of the jury in more than a hundred international film festivals and boards in North America, South America and Europe. She collaborates on Swimming Upstream: A lifesaving Guide to Short Film Distribution, The Guerilla Filmmakers Pocketbook and Making it Big in Shorts: The Ultimate Filmmaker's Guide to Short Films. She has a Master degree in Film and teaches strategies workshops for festivals, Academy Awards and distribution in the United States, Mexico and South America. Recently, she was among the six international executives of shorts films chosen to participate in Shorts Up. Prior to join Shorts International, she bought short films for The Hatchery and EVEO, she developed short films for Hanna Barbera´s “What a Cartoon”, which aired on Cartoon Network Broadcasting Channel, also she programmed short films for the DreamWorks Short Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Short Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival and Sofia Independent Film Festival. She also evaluated shorts and feature films for Fear Fete and the Sundance Film Festival. She also worked on the feature film Sherk, The Road to El Dorado, The Prince of Egypt, Reality Bites and The Life of David Gale.
